El Manao is a certified Viñedo Singular from one of Bodegas Sonsierra's oldest parcels, planted in 1927 at 410 meters on a terrace bordering the Ebro River. Despite its riverside location, the soil is clay and limestone. 100% Tempranillo with some Viura, aged 20 months in French oak. Produces wines of great backbone and ripe fruit with powerful tannins and a long finish. Extremely limited at approximately 549 bottles. One of the rarest wines in all of Rioja.
