Soltierra is Bodegas Sonsierra's first single-vineyard Garnacha and a certified Viñedo Singular. The vines were planted in 1927 on one of the highest altitude parcels in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, at 620 meters on a steep 20% incline. Surrounded by thyme and juniper bushes with an ancient olive tree at its center, this tiny 0.32-hectare parcel yields intensely fruity wine with high acidity and floral aromas. Aged 12 months in French oak. Limited to just 817 bottles.
